Our corner
One room, two ovens, a lot of regulars.
We opened with six seats and a borrowed espresso machine. Today there are twenty seats, a bakery bench at the back, and the same rule as day one: nothing leaves the pass that we would not eat ourselves. Growers are paid direct, bread is same-day, and whatever is left at close goes to the shelter down the road.

I came in for a flat white and ended up working here every Thursday for a year. The corner table is basically my office now.
The sourdough is the best in the city and nobody rushes you out. That combination is rarer than it should be.
